IT support built for how businesses actually run
GG Computers has spent years solving IT problems in Cape Town — for homes, and increasingly for the businesses that depend on their systems working every single day. Here's who we are and how we work.
Where we started
GG Computers began as hands-on, on-site IT support — the kind of help a business or homeowner calls when something’s gone wrong and they need someone who actually knows what they’re doing. Over the years, the businesses we worked with kept asking for more: not just a fix when something broke, but someone watching their systems so it didn’t break in the first place. That shift is what GG Computers is today — a managed IT partner built around the same technical depth, now applied proactively instead of reactively.
Local, and it matters
We’re based in Woodstock, and we stay local by design. When your systems go down, you need someone who can be on-site the same day — not a call centre reading from a script, and not a provider three time zones away. Being local also means we understand the Cape Town business landscape: the connectivity challenges, the compliance pressure from bigger clients and insurers, and what “small business” actually looks like here.
What managed IT means to us
Managed IT gets used as a buzzword by a lot of providers who are really just doing reactive support with a different invoice. Here's what we actually mean by it:
Proactive, not reactive
We're watching your systems before something breaks, not waiting for a call.
Fixed, predictable pricing
One monthly cost per user — no surprise call-out fees, no billing by the hour for something that should already be handled.
Security-first, not security-optional
Every package includes real protection, not security as an expensive add-on you're upsold into later.
A partner, not a vendor
Quarterly reviews and planning sessions mean we're thinking about your business's IT needs before you have to.
Let's see if we're a fit
The best way to know if GG Computers is right for your business is a short conversation about where your IT stands today. No pressure, no sales script.
